you can get the tune sorted out for cruising MPG and still bout the same power up top or what not..

Did a DSP5 in my buddys Dmax and its awesome.
Basically its a 5 position switch. 1 is stock, and 2-5 is whatever you want it to be. very nice!!

I use to drive a 1/2 ton van with the 4.3, tuned it got 19.5mpg. couldnt get any better than that.
bet yours has a few more ftlb tho.
