Very much agreed. GM is SLOW in getting stuff from concept to production. Teasing us all the way and then dumbing them down by the time they make it to production.

 

holy crap the impala ss model would be killer! the chevelle should at least have that under the hood

 

I really like the G8(GXP if they make it) that is coming out......maybe because I'm getting old.

 

I like the G8 too. Look forward to seeing a GXP with a manual trans.

it seems that gm is trying to get out of manual trans' all together, no manual in trucks, auto in the zr1, auto in the g8 ,etc.

 

Thats because out Ten drivers you have the following mix of people and majority rules...

x2 Guys wearing suites who need a ***** enlarger and can't drive a stick

x2 Soccor Moms (SUV) that can't drive a stick and talk on the phone at the same time

x2 Teenage girls (sports car) that can't drive a stick and talk on the phone at the same time

x2 Teenage boys with rich parents that can't drive a stick

x1 Lazy **** that doesn't want to drive a stick

And then x1 Guy/Girl that is a true automobile lover like us and wishes for a stick shift but, the other loosers win cause there is more of them...


This is not claimed to be a true statistic, i just made it up... LoL

 

The G8 is already set up for a manuel from Holden so I think it will have the manuel transmission released next year, but since most of the sales are for autos that is what they tend to focus on for initial sales.
