Default "new" 918's

Just wanted to let you guy's know I talked to a Comp cam's representative about the 918 springs. He said the only difference in the "old" and "new" 918's is the finishing process, the wire they use is the exact same as the old.
Just lettin ya guy's know if you didnt already. I run the new springs with no issues yet but my cam is a lower lift cam (.556).
Maybe this is old new's but new to me I thought they changed wire and whatnot for the new design.

I can understand your frustation, they are still only rated to .600 lift too....

Anything .590 lift or above needs to go to a spring that is rated at .650 IMO

Dan, what lift was your cam?

if they are rated at .600 then you should be able to run a .600 lift cam. if they dont like it then they dont need to be rated for it.
