The pipe you are going to want to put a small chamfer on it so that when you glue the joint it doesnt push the glue out of the joint. This will keep it on the pipe and not push it into the fitting. This is only a good idea and step to do on a pipe that will see lots of pressure. If possible try to get all the water out of the pipe when you make the connection because the glue will not stick to the pipe.

If you have any question feel free to pm me and if you have any question or need help i can shoot you my phone number and i can walk you through it.

not gona happen.

here is what you do.
go to the store and buy a 12 pack of beer, 2 big bags of ice.
load the cooler with ice and beer, let beer chill.
fire up the grill.
pick up the phone and call gao8302, he is a plumber.
set lawn chair in front yard.
grill is ready, add hot dogs.
beer is ready, grab a cold one and take a drink while you watch the dogs cook.

when gao8302 shows up, tell him the problem.
while he working, sit in the lawn chair, eat your dogs and drink your beer.
now when he is done, offer him a beer and a dog.
when he is finished ask about the bill.
when he is done making up the bill, tell him to take across the lawn to the neighbors house.
they broke it on their property, they pay to fix it right.

U might also check to see if the land was surveyed. Their yard might really be yours. If so its all on them for diggin up ur yard.

I can't belive it took almost 30 post for someone to mention that the person that is responsible for breaking it should be the person responsible for making the proper repair. The other question I would ask is why did the fence company not call all of the utility companys for a mark out before digging? Thye are lucky it was just a water line, and not gas.
