Default Need Help

OK, I want to make sure I am right on what I have.

I pulled a 5.7 out of a 1997 suburban, engine code is R and build date is 11/96. So this is an LT1 correct. Reason I am asking is I am rebuilding it and I am trying to find the rod bearing and main bearing clearance specifications.

Thanks
Mike

And yes I am still searching for this info.

Don't believe so. Those were just plain jane vortech motors, not LT1s.

OK, so let me ask you this then. I have a buddy that has an older 350 that has been stroked to a 383 and runs. However, it is carburator. Could I bolt my intake on it a go fuel injected or would I have to do more like bolting the heads also? Mine is a Vortec......
