Default my boy keeps dropping a duece

in the bath tub

damnit! i cant figure out what the deal is, i feel like he is ******* with me cause he knows that i have to clean up his pooh.

i give him a shower with me, he is 14 months old... anways, i bathe, then i bathe him, i get out and dry off... and right before i get him out of the tub, he drops a duece right there. plop!

then he starts smiling and laughing at me. like "ha ha ************" LOL
little terd!@ i dont know why he waits til he is absolutely clean and the tub is clean to take a ****.. he always stomps around in it while he is hysterically laughing.

its funny as hell, until i remember that i have to give him another bath and scoop the terds out of there.

any suggestions from the rest of the dads in here? i cant figure this dude out.. is he just ******* with me or what?

first of all....... Ha ha ah ha!! that is freaking funny!!

Yes, he's messing with you. The job of the child is to test the limits of the parent. Tell him it isn't ok. Put him on the toilet and make him sit there while you are cleaning up. Maybe have him help you clean up.

It's funny as ____ but if it makes you laugh then he sees that. Try to be a little more serious about it if you really want it to stop.

One of the best posts ever!!

NO LAUGHING, that's for here. LOL He has to know without a doubt in his little mind that it is NOT okay to pooh in the tub. NO LAUGHING. Catch him in the middle of the act, jerk his *** out of the tub and slam him on the toilet. POOH in toilet! Once he is done, reward him for poohing (finishing) on the toilet. Positive reinforcement. NO LAUGHING!!!! Rewards for poohing in toilet. NO LAUGHING.

No spanking for poohing, just redirection.

he is too little to sit up there.. i have one of those long toilets with a big seat so i can get all my *** in there.. you know the kind.

but he is only 14 months, maybe 30 lbs or so.. a big boy for 14 months, but he would fall in there. i would hate to have him help me pick the terds up and go running through my house with them in hand.

i make him sit in the tub while i clean it up.... doesnt seem to bother him any getting **** all over his feet.

hopefully this "phase" of dropping dueces wont last forever. its been about 3 months now of this.. i figured it was time to post up about it.

that sounds good to me, my problem is that he does it while i am drying off, and he does it very quickly .. so by the time i hear him start laughing at me, its already dropped. sometimes i dont dry off immediately, i will just sit there and look at him, like i did last night.

i waited about 5 minutes, and he was just talking and playing with his rubber ducky, and soon as i turned around... there were two of em falling out. he doesnt do this with his mom either, so she claims?

My nephew did the same thing for a few months to my brother ... He eventually grew out of it.... But he had a little guy can right next to daddy's so he would do similar to what dewey said and sit him on the pot when he did it... So I don't know if he grew out of it or what my brother did helped....

Thats great. Sucks for you, but it is funny to us. Maybe try a little cooler water, the warm water relaxes him and lets it go.
