Default My bad experience with Randy's R&P

I've been posting this at a lot of the forums i visit because of how frustrating this situation is.

Recently i ordered 4.10s and an install kit for my chevy colorado. So i went to get my 4.10s installed today. About half way through the job, the mechanic pulls out the "Yukon master install kit" and it happens to be for a ford rear end.

So at this point the install kit is wrong and now i'm wondering if my gears are wrong. They "look right", but who knows if they are right. So i call them to get both of these returned just incase. Except they want to charge a mother ******* 15% restocking fee for their ******* mistake.

The mechanic gets on the phone for me and explains why the god damn install kit is wrong. So they decide to fully refund the install kit. however are still planning to charge me restocking on the gears.

So Thanks Randy's R&P. You guys caused me to spend 200$ or so today for absolutely nothing.

Ron's Machining Service FTMFW. It should be a sticky. The guy personally emails you after you purchase to make sure everything is for the correct application.

i picked up a set of 3.73 for mine, opened the box and everything looked great.
took my truck in to get the new gears installed, they took everything apart and
holy horse **** batman, these are for the front drive axel, they wont work in the rear.

so here i am hangin in the air, rear all apart, what am i left to do.
had to buy a set from them.

well i got the situation settled. It Just took an angry, swear filled phone call with a customer service manager.

I guess it could have been worse.
