What can go wrong, will go wrong.
Sitting on the side of the road, waiting on a tow
Driveshaft blew up. Front part and input shaft are some where back in the shrapnel.

Dented the hell out of my mid pipe and heat shields, but I was lucky. Coulda caught brake parts. Saw the front half on the way to a salvage yard, looked like an opened biscuit tube

I'm going to fix the pinion angle (slight shudder off the line), look into high speed balancing, and have it limited to 115. I was "in the zone" and noticed I was going about 130 just before it popped
a safety loop up front is in order, and eventually a Texas driveshaft specialists shaft like schino (tvs1900 nnbs rc/lb) has.

Here's a story to add to the thread: Decided to take my car out to work the other day because I haven't had a chance to play with it at all yet this summer. Made it to work fine, had it up on the lift, changed the oil, looked everything over, all that good stuff. Well left work and was about 1/4 of the way home in rush hour traffic when I started smelling coolant. Looked down and the temp was climbing past 250, so I cut across two lanes and into a parking lot. Popped the hood to find the lower hose blew off the water pump. A five block walk to and then back from the parts store and a new hose and three gallons of coolant later finally got her going again.
