I can't say that was the most brilliant post ever, but ok...

That was an assassination, hell a murder is less ruthless. That old man walked over to him like he was gonna get his phone number. If he was a threat he would of shot him from a further distance.

HOWEVER...NO way in HELL would I let my fellow jurors convict him. Not because he wasn't a murder, but sadly...it IS one less scum bag off the street from their OWN DOING. When I trained for SAF(security augemntation force) in the Navy, man they teach you over and over and over, do not under any circumstance allow the person you decide to shoot....live. Jesus that video makes him look bad. I bet he gets a guilty verdict out of this.

I honestly don't think he will out of an Oklahoma jury. There may be a plea bargain of some sort but I don't think he'll spend a day in jail.

I honestly hope he doesn't, I can see a hung jury.

What are you refering to, and was I talking to you?

Thats rediculous. I was a number, not a piece of equipment. And if you say I wasn't free because I was bound by the laws of the UCMJ, then in that respect, no one is actually free. When in fact that is not the case at all. In this country, we are all free, to an extent. There are laws in place to govern society and provide guidelines for punishing people when they do things that are against the best intrest of the people.
Your Freedom was given to you when you were born or became a citizen. Its something called the Declaration of Independance. Your Discharge papers with your service history gave you freedom from something that you volunteered for. If you go back and read my post I even insinuated it as if you were active duty, because you made it seem like you were with your training travels. Just because you chose to serve your country by enlisting does not make you any better than your peers. Yes it is noble, but that is not the only way to serve your country.

wow talk about blowing things out of proportion.

I don't recall anything in this thread that said people that served are better than people that dont.

NONE of this has to do with the topic at hand
