First I agree that the media has it's own agenda and you can't judge this case without all the facts. That said, I'll offer my opinion....

If you go robbing stores, be prepared to be shot and killed. Period. .

I don't know what I would have done, I've never shot anyone intentionally

 

Self Defense, I don't give a *** if he did shoot the guy that many times. Only the person that is in the situation knows how and what it feels like. People tend to forget what they would do and the freaking do gooders want to lock the good guy up. Thats what is wrong with this world.. Rule number one don't rob sombody.... i would have made sure he was DONE to.. That is one less scum that will be out there to *** with sombody..

 

Self defense.......even though i would have to question why he went back and shot him another 5 times but who knows maybe he was reaching for his gun again? but i still say self defense cause you have to take out the threat and he did!!!! One less POS running around!

 

that is murder, just watch the video. would you calmly walk by the guy who is bleeding out on your floor. Go behind the counter, then reload. Walk back over, and get point blank range away from him and pull the trigger. Thats not self defense. But on the other hand, there was a felony being committed. You dont rob stores with threats.

You threaten my life and I would kill also. No matter if I had the upper hand at the present momment or not. It only takes a split second for the would be robber to turn that situation around. If a police officer would have been in that situation, those same actions would have been justified by the PD.

 

Hopefully they let him off. however he learned a valuable lesson.
Make the first shot count.

I don't agree with finishing the guy off unless he is absolutely a threat, but i really doubt the kid was trying to do anything more than get up and get away at that point.

If you stay calm and make the first or 2nd shot a kill, then you avoid that situation. Good idea to carry a full clip instead of a single shot.
