im just telling u guys that people around where i live dont pay over $100 for comprehensive deduct. i paid $50 when something similar happened to my truck a while back and have claimed a few times with similar situations. if its considered collision then yes ur deduct would be high but since u could play it off as vandalism ull avoid the larger deduct. im guessing the guys questioning this are guys who either havent had any issues like this, have never made a claim and just wanna look cool by agreeing with someone else on the internet, and/or dont have similar insurance to what i have. I use State Farm and live in texas.

I agree but that's how their terms are. They are waiving any and all deductibles just because I had the wherewithal to photo that guys plates so I'm not complaining. I've always had the best of service with AAA. They're covering the rental also.

**** that **** they tried to pull hat BS on me as well, i said idk how it happened. if a person kicked ur truck it would be a dent and technically a collision but itd fall under vandalism. make a shoe imprint on ur truck(or dirty a shoe and press it where the dent is) and take pics and send it in the them... i didnt have to do all that i just told them my mom has had their insurance for 30 years and never made a claim and she was gonna switch if they fucked her over. they made it right...
