2003 Z06, 17.5k miles (now 18.5k), PRC Stage 2.5 heads, MS3 cam, LSXR 102, Halltech air intake, Kooks headers and offroad X-pipe, 18/19 C6 replica wheels, plus a couple other goodies

On a sadder note, I have agreed to sell my truck to a coworker...

Beautiful. I've always wanted one, and I will have one at some point in my life.

Did you get a good deal on it? It seems like the price can vary a lot depending on the mileage.

Thank you! Me too; finally got it

I paid $25,750 for it at a dealer with an SLP Loudmouth axleback in addition to everything I listed. Since that setup is straight pipes and designed to be bolted onto a stock Corvette, it was way too loud and resonated horribly inside the car with the rest of the mods, so I replaced it with the factory titanium mufflers. NADA retail for the car stone stock with those miles was $25,700, so I feel like it was a very reasonable price, since I paid only $50 over that and got a whole bunch of mods that I would have done anyway. I certainly didn't get a phenomenal deal, but I didn't get taken either.

Heck yea, that is certainly a good deal. A guy at work has an 02 Z06, bone stock with 145k for $16. Its very tempting!

I shopped for a long, long time. Barely missed a fully-built 402ci 2001 with an RPM Stage 5 T56 and ton of other high-dollar hardware for $19.5k. I'm very happy with what I got, though. She idles like *** with a rough tune and that big cam (the swap to factory mufflers was the straw that broke the camel's back), so Tuesday I'm meeting up with NicD to get my badass new ride to stop stalling when I push in the clutch Otherwise, she's a beast; I've already got several things purchased and several more in the pipeline. Now I'm shopping for a nice 3/4-ton truck I can buy cash (still need a truck).

Oh yeah, you can get a car with only a third of those miles for just a few grand more than that; that price isn't a deal. NADA guide is VERY accurate, keep an eye out. Hell, there's a 2004 Z06 Z16 LeMans Commemorative Edition (limited production, factory carbon fiber hood, better shocks) for sale over on the Corvette forum for $22.5k right now

I have not been clean shaven in roughly 9 months, and use nothing but shampoo on the beard. I'm sure there s something i should be putting on/in it but i have no idea as to what.
what is jojoba oil?

EDIT: there should be a beard thread....

I have had several 6-8 month beards that start getting split ends because I refuse to skip washing my face every day. Jojoba oil is supposedly very similar to the oils your skin produces naturally but does not clog the pores and absorbes quickly. I shaved a month back and started over so I can't say yet just how effective it will be, but at the very least it will prevent breakage because it makes it WAY easier to put a comb or brush through it. A beard thread would be cool.
