The wrapping job looks even worse in person.. 2" wide, 1/8" thick wrap with 1" overlap. You can hold your hand on the primaries for a while even after running it hard. I was burning wires even with the wire protectors before. Have to do the other side eventually. Wrapping the aluminum intake tube cut temps from 111* to about 92* putting around. Guess it was heat soaking the sensor.
Being in contact with fiberglass is probably one of the punishments used in hell.

Will be a while before I would trust myself on another vehicle but eventually I want to get to that point. Dad has an 04 C5 Vette that I think will be my first subject after I learn on my truck.

17" 10" wide centerline avenger rims. Won't list the price till wife picks them up tomorrow but even if they are a little weathered it's a STEAL. Owner says no pitting or curb rash..

If a good cleaning and polish doesn't take care I will just get the powdercoated.
