I'll 2nd the fact that working on our trucks is MUCH easier. You really don't need a lift for anything on our trucks, most things can be accomplished with a simple jack and stands. The engine bay is also 5x bigger and more spacious.

But then there is also the fact that most people buy T/As and Camaros because they're already fast and there is a large aftermarket following. It's easy to buy one and have a shop put a ton of parts on it if you've got the money. Us truck guys do it because it's either the only vehicle we have or can afford, or because we want to be different. Hence the reason why most of us do our own work, we either enjoy working on it ourselves or we're too broke to pay someone to do it haha.

I wonder how much i could charge some of those guys to do cam swaps...... Garrett, you in? lol

I enjoy working on pretty much all cars and trucks, I cant afford to send it to someone everytime something goes wrong either so I do my own wrenching.

This dude showed me his 300zx that he wanted to hop up a bit. He popped the hood, and I swear there isn't one component under there that is more than an inch from the hood. They PACK those cars full! He wants to turbo it and pointed to this tiny little void in front of his engine where a turbo might fit. Gary the snail might fit in there, but getting an actual turbo in would be an absolute pain in the ***.

Trucks FTW

Maybe with enough cam swaps, you'll have enough to heat it
