lookin for opinions on next pistol purchase

I like the Sig 226 SS Elite in .40 SW. But I'm from the 50's and I like bright. And, I like Detonics .45's.
In Illinois ya can't carry legally unless the mag is out and in another spot. IF I could carry I'd like one of the lil .380's like the Ruger LCP or the Taurous TCP. (I think I got the letters right.. maybe) I know the .380 is not a "big" load but the gun is so small that I'd be more likely to have it with me than I would the Sig that I REALLY want.
