Any word on the G8 ST (el camino)???

 

'94-96 Impala SS rocks!!! In Dec. 96 I planned to buy 1 in Slate Green Gray. But my bro found me another car I always wanted.

Glad I could help. I actually stumbled on this while tryin to find info on another new GM I've been considering. Any guesses, Cowboy or anyone?!?

why not get rid of the impala fwd pos and call the new Chevy version the Impala and make it a real car like it used to be?

Ya, when I heard Caprice, I thought why not Impala. Then the light came on in my headDuh! Cause they already use that name. So I thought, call the current FWD Impala whatever...& as u said, name the G8 as Impala SS.

Face it, for most of the 70's-90's, a Caprice was an older person's car. The cop spec was ok. The '94-'96 Impala SS did it justice. But those 2 instances aside, a real Caprice was before I was born & had a BBC. Like say427!!!

Believe it or not, I was kickin round the idea of a Cobalt SS. Minus the F&F wing, of course.
