Default little extra money coming in.

since college let out 2 weeks ago, starting roofing as my summer job. got some extra money burning a hole in my pocket and looking to fix up my 08 gmc 5.3 a small bit at a time. looking for some ideas for the first mod. just have the windows tinted, about to powder coat the oem 20's and HIDs. i cant get ahold of charlie wheatley. just wanting some opinions on some parts. looking to spend 500-750 ever couple of weeks. list prices on the parts if yall dont mind.

I vote 6L swap!! Cheap and way way more power than any other one mod not including F/I.
Looking at 1K for the block and labor if you don't do it yourself.

there's a $600 6L long block for sale local to the DFW area if you really wanna start off in the right direction. I'd pick it up myself but it'd just be an expensive end table for me at the moment.
