My Golden is the same way.. just not as big as yours but still all energy till I throw the ball for her
Bring him in at night, he goes right in his kennel and goes to sleep. He spends most of his time under the kitchen table. I guess the floor is coolest there.

I told her "Free, German Shepherd, Alaskan Malamute, Husky, or a Wolf Hybrid." I thought this would end her searching as all those are nearly impossible to find free.

15 minutes later she said she had found one and wanted to go get it.

We brought home this MONSTER

He is a 5 month old German Shepherd / Great Dane mix. Right now about 80 lbs. He is a fantastic dog. He had been couped up in an apartment. IN the picture of him sitting with me, he was so hyper I couldn't take my eyes off him with our baby in the room. After running around the 5 acre fenced in yard with the other 2 dogs, he has mellowed out a TON. All the bad habits the previous owners said he had, are non-apparent. I think he was just bored and restless.

Lol, I fenced my 4 acres for my two miniature dachshunds... But we're Great Dane shopping later this year. I love my little lap buddies but I miss having a big yard dog.

Yeah, I thought my Black dog Dixie was a beast, but this dog makes her look tiny.

He has to be the clumsiest dog I have ever seen. Never wimpers, just bags into stuff and keeps going. I let my smaller dog in the other night and the 2 got to playing. The small dog ran under the kitchen table and the big dog picked it up on his back and carried the table away. The table weighs around 120 lbs. I had to stop him and put the table back.

LOL, you think.

He is actually very well behaved. We have to get him through this hyperness and jumping on people.
