yup, pretty gay, kimbos standup looked damn good though. he was catching nelson easily with some strong punches. sucks it had to end in a weak *** stoppage like that

I wouldn't say Kimbo "whooped" him standing up, he didn't throw or land many punches, and the ones he did land didn't do much. Tonight is another example of professional fighting vs street fighting, mma vs back yard brawl, etc. If you can't fight on the ground someone will beat you on the ground.

 

He was actually homeless for about a month after his house was destroyed by a hurricane. But yeah he did go to some damn good schools and did try out for the Dolphins made it to preseason...

 

Either way that was a horrible horrible fight. There were absolutely no highlights.

 

That fight was a ******* joke, but of course it had to be that way to show his weakness on the ground...now he will train give it 2 weeks and he'll come back and smash whoever he fights...

 

Doubt it. More power to him if he does succeed, and he has a strong will to learn mma, but that fight was pure domination. This is MMA, not 'fighting', if you can't fight on the ground you will be taken down and beaten. You can't learn ground game in 2 weeks, most of these guys have very little MMA experience. IF he were to make it to the UFC he would be pulverized because those guys do this for a living and have been fighting and training for years in MMA. Like Nelson said, if he couldn't take him on the stand up he would take him down, and that's what he did and effortlessly won the match.
