When you finally get a check engine light to go out, the next few days you find yourself peeking around the steering wheel at the cluster to see if the sob is back on? Replaced my knock sensors, harness, and intake gaskets, cranked the truck back up and the cel was still on. went to advance and he scanned it, was told it was the kknock sensor. Anyways, i told him i replaced them, so he cleared the code, driving the truck all day, and no cel, so im paranoid lol

doesnt it take like 500 miles for a code like that to clear itself without having it cleared manually? i would keep an eye on it but not stress myself out about it

I never heard exactly if it was time, or mileage, or key turns. Anyone know for sure? Is it brand specific or a standard in all vehicles.

**** knock sensors. Better give your engine a sponge bath from now on because as soon as you soak it theyll go bad again.

When I got my new cluster in, I popped the clear plastic off and put some electrical tape on the Service light, and also the brake light and ABS lights. I need to get some new wheel speed sensors, and new knock sensors, but until I do, **** those lights lol
