???....weird, I've had excellent luck with them. Bought my first Optima for my '99 Sierra in 2001 and ran it with my stereo system. I could leave the truck sitting for 2 weeks and it would fire right up. I put it in my '02 Silverado when I bought it and it lasted until November of 2007.

1 red top, 2 different trucks, 6 years.

I'm on my 2nd Optima red top now.

I usually buy Walmart Everlast battery's, I think the one in my truck is about a year and a half years old. They have a 2 year free replacement, so ever 22 months, I take it in and tell them it won't hold a charge and they give me a new one no questions asked and the 2 year warranty starts all over again. I think I'm on my 2nd or 3rd one and never paid for anything but original one

Yeah i really have not heard of em lasting this long but it's kicking strong still.
I might do a big three upgrade soon though cause the system dims the lights fairly good when i run the air at night.
