The importance of waring safety glasses
#11
I was soldering 2 wires together the other day and they were where I couldn't support them. One of them rolled off the iron and flicked hot solder at my left eye. I took a drop to the brow and 1 about 2 mm below my eyeball. That was last week and I can still see the burn mark. Of course my dumb *** still finished the job without the safety glasses.

I've not had welder's flash burn, but I've had something similar from a laser beam. My eyeballs just ached and they were very dry.

I willingly got sprayed in the face/eyes with the oil based pepper spray. Well not really willingly, we were training for crowd/riot control and of course someone made up the dumb rule if you want to get certified to use it you have to get sprayed and then run around like an idiot. That was pretty much 2 hours of crying. But it was MAN crying because I had something in my eye......

It's so freakin' humid that I can barely see w/ the glasses.
