I dont know what price range they are going for now days, but a WRX turbo would be a fun commuter car, manual trans, AWD and still get decent gas mileage. My SS Camaro was fun to drive had 100k on it when I got rid of it and the interior was still holding up, but I take pretty good care of my stuff.

I'm a younger guy so going and test driving these cars will probably be difficult. I'd probably rather buy from a private seller anyways.

miatas are the only cars gayer than my DD, but they have perfect suspention geometry, cheap in every way, RWD, and make the best track cars.

if you could get over the gay factor, its not a bad option.

**** that age bullshit. People don't know how old you are or how much money you got in your pocket. Don't show up dressed like a bum, present yourself in a manner that makes you look like you know what you're talkin about, even if you don't have a pot to **** in, that person doesn't know if you have 20 stacks in your back pocket or not.

Just like I won't date a chick without ****** her, I won't buy a car without drivin it first. It's their loss if they won't let me...on to the next one lol

Hmm now as far as a loan goes. I'm 22 and I have practically perfect credit, but not much of a credit history since I've never taken out a loan or anything. I'm wondering if I'll be able to qualify for a $10,000 loan through my local credit union. I guess I'll see if they have any way to get pre-approved for a loan so I'll know what my options are. I could always have my parents cosign if it'd lower the interest rate, but I'd prefer to try this on my own first.

Credit unions are usually the best. They'll prolly still want a cosigner or some kind of collateral or money down since you're younger and never had a loan.

Well the converter clutch had been toast for a while. The truck was sitting for a while and I let Brendan borrow it for work for a week while his car was broke down and the trans started to overheat on the highway (never did this before when I drove it from Denton to Arlington), so something must have screwed up internally. Then it started to slip pretty bad so we parked it at my parents house which is where it's at now.
