You have a preference on RWD? FWD? AWD?

Definitely prefer RWD over the other two. I think I'd be settling if I went with a FWD car, and if I'm going to spend that kind of money I don't want to settle for something I don't want.

I would stick RWD also
You might be able to find a C4 Vette for in that range, not the best looking of the generations but lots of options for them.

I think I'd have a hard time finding one in decent enough condition in my price range. They're either going to cost way too much and be in mint condition, or they're going to be in my price range and ragged out with tons of miles. I guess you could say the same about most sports cars, but a C4 vette really doesn't seem like it'd be practical. Thanks for the suggestions

F bodies are pieces of junk but they're fun and cheap to keep fixing... I miss my daily 98 Z. I got 26 mpg and ran low 13s and when I felt like impressing everyone at the trailer park I took out the t tops and let my mullet blow in the wind.

Seriously though, I'd do an f body or a 99-03 Mustang, those are in the 5-6K range and I've seen them go 150k trouble free.

After driving my buddies T/A quite a bit the past month or so, I really want a 4th gen fbody(preferably a T/A) They may not be the best put together car(I haven't seen enough facts to support that statement) but you can find them in great shape for $5k...They're a fun car to drive and have one of the best stock suspension setups out there. My buddy bought a 98 camaro last year with longtubes, dual 3" exhaust with xpipe, rebuilt tranny and z06 wheels for $2700...Had 200,000+ miles on it but ran amazing. I put a cam and valve springs in it, tuned and it made 400rwhp and got 20+mpg. He traded it in on his new camaro before he told me what he was doing or it'd be my car now.

Please don't get a belly button(mustang) LOL

If I buy anything it's going to have to have a clean title. I don't want a salvaged car or anything.

What kind of mileage on an F-body should I be looking for? I see them all over craigslist with 100-150k. I'd prefer to have one around 80k but that may be asking too much.
