That's why I said for lack of a better term. It's not an invested account. I mean, I guess if the bank that the accounts are kept goes under we could lose it. But I don't see than happening considering they're recording better profits year to year for nearly the last 5 years.

 

What are you guys gonna do with this "invested/saved money"?I mean I guess you could eat it but,that wouldnt last so then what you die.Im gonna stick to materializing money in my local economy.Then again I vaporize my check every week,and still wake up every morning smiling with only controlables on my mind.

 

The idea is to grow it to the point where you can comfortably retire and then draw enough monthly to live on. If we're lucky enough to have some left over when we die, I guess our kids get it. Otherwise, the government gets it.

 

I jus jerkin yous guys chain a lil.I too have a few pensions lined up one is sort of goose egg.The other pensions will hopefully be enough to cover inflation along the way.
Im only in my 30's but,from my experiences you would be better off allocating your trust before you pass.Some if not most people take on a whole new face of greed when the time comes.The real shitty part is it only takes one person to destroy a whole family.


I jus had my first kid a baby girl in August an so far plan is to jus be actively involved in her life.I always seem to live within the same standard no matter if I make $70000 or $30000 a year.So now I concentrate on a controlable "my daughter" since I feel content with how I live.
My pop spent a large portion of his life ie. my child hood insuring our financal stability when all I gave a damn about was hanging out with him. Dont get me wrong he gave100% in being a father but,after a week of 12-14 hour days there is not too much dad left.You know the ironey of it all in light of decisions I make along the way my kids will probably be more like grandpa.Ah the cycle of life will continue long as we drive to better ourselves.
