Similar thing happened to me, with a vette owner. But I was in my old 1970 Buick GS 455 Stage 2. The car looked like ****, it was a project that I was working on, and actually had just come from the college where I was taking a body shop class to use the facility to do all the paint and body work. Had all the emblems off, the front grill was all broken out, taillights busted up, Interior needed re-upholstery, bumpers needed straightening and re-chrome, and the entire car was painted primered black. But the engine was built. LOL. Just obliterated his vette and left him in a cloud of smoke. At the next light, he pulls up and asks me, what the car was and I just smiled and said a Buick and left it at that. He looked pissed as he took an immediate right hander.

 

I would say thats pretty close, if it was lower case X's then its not as good..... but since its capitol X's then i'd say he pretty much got it!

 

I think its weird too... I dont know why its such a big secret. Immitation is the most sincere form of flattery. If someone told me they wanted to run my exact cam I would be pumped...
