I almost have the new garage all setup.

looks great, I can't wait till we move in hopefully mid-late April... our two car garage will be my man cave/engine building/gun building/whatever the f(*k I want to do room... I have it all planned out and drawn up, however, after seeing your sliding drill press I got a few more ideas though, thinking I'll do mine and my bandsaw that way. Also got an idea for a turntable mounted on the work bench that could have a motor or trans or whatever placed on it and rotated 360* would make checking measurements, cleaning, etc on engines and trans' soooo much easier than the typical engine stand.

Well the house came with 2 breaker boxes that are roughly 3/4 full right now. the house has tons of lighting inside and out. Plus 2 hot water heaters and a well pump. Which is good i still have space in the those boxes cause i need to add 2 220v plugs in the garage for my compressor and welder
that wiring goes to the pressure tank that turns the well pump on and off.
Here is a better picture of all that stuff.

Well the first thing i did when we moved into the new house was epoxy the floor. ...
Next was a pretty cool idea i had about mounting my drill press. I made a section of the bench detached then I added HD drawer slides so when i need it i can pull it out, then when it is not being used i just push it back.

Everything stained and peg-board mounted

FINALLY all my stuff is unpacked!!

last but not least, i added 2 rows of 4ft fluorescent lights, they do a great job of lighting up the garage.
Next, i am going to build some more shelves around the new air compressor and make some more shelves on the other side of the garage... Slowly but surely it is coming along... This 3car garage has to hold me over until about 1-2years that is probably the soonest we can build my shop..

That's a really slick idea w/. the sliding drill press.
Build your shop? What, bigger?

I'm w/. dlt76028, put a two post lift in there! And get a trans jack too. I know someone getting a FLT L7 soon.

I have 1 thing to add. In the 1st pic I saved, you used a level. Why? I hope u didn't do that for the whole bench, just 1/2. That way when u have a engine or tranny on top of it, all the oil will run on your new epoxy floor.
