dunno if its your cup of tea, but my mom just got a 2009 or 2010 v6 avalon for about 12k and it gets great mileage and is comfy.

Why buy a foreign car that wont hold its value when you can buy a killer looking Cadillac CTS. The 6 cyl models run great, drive great, look great, and resale great. BTW its a GM.

The only other foreign car that i would consider would be a TDI Jetta, there sweet little cars and killer MPG, and German > Jap.

Id be looking at a BMW 335i, runshigh 12s with a tune and knocks down mid 20s pretty easy while having a decent amount of room. If I get tired of the wifes civic si she will be driving one of these.

I don't really like the cts... I don't really care for any brand in particular. I test drove a genisus today and it was pretty sweet

You may like a TDI Jetta, try driving one in the snow and see how you like it....

I am happy with my Sonata, I liked the Genesis but it wasnt big enough for me. I car pool to work and wanted something that could seat 4 adults comfortably. I dont care who likes what, I am happy with my car so far. Hardly any cars hold there value anymore, sure you could get a BMW with some miles on it however when it starts needing maintence hold on....

The genesis is larger than the sonata..the back seat is huge. Im a pretty wide fella and I felt right at home.
