Were they considering the silverado? because yeah- the crew cab has more room all around in every category. It doesn't have a "large interior" nor adequate engine. I'm sure the CC ram would dwarf a silverado inteior in size.

No 4Lo, but thats ok. because most people wont ever use it. But you cant reach over the bed walls and thats ok?

I'm glad your visual inspection of "grinding noises" deemed it to be ok. My hydrolocked motor would be ok by your standards as well as my transmission that was one throttle dip from being towed.

If GM had nylon covered seats they would say something like "We have reason to believe that the nylon seats and old style pushrod engine come from the same 1972 timeframe"

he radio, on the other hand, is a far reach from the driver's seat, and the front interior door handles look like chrome shovel handles, but the ergonomics are otherwise first-rate
Anyone else see the massive contradictions of this statement? Let me put it into medical terms

Aside from the cancer in his brain and an infection in his leg that makes it look a baseball was jammed into his shin- his health is near perfect.
I dont know about you- but the radio and doorhandles are the things I use the most once in the truck aside from the steering wheel and pedals. I'm glad they managed to put the steering wheel and brake pedals in a "first rate" location.
I love my cloth seats- great quality cloth- so comfy.

Combine the chassis, bed, and large interior with the smooth, quiet, and adequately powerful engine, and you have, well, a winner. The bar has been raised.
Your enthusiasm is so fake and purchased, anna nicole smith looks legit.

Its kind of hard to say because i'm so involved in the automotive industry but i'm willing to bet that if you asked someone what they thought was a tougher more reliable truck- a honda or an american truck, they would say american. Same if you make it "an american truck ENGINE" instead of "american truck"

If you just say honda engine or honda car engine vs. an american one- Id agree with you.

what a ******* joke.
Mabye for the special olympics high jump.

Those things are such pieces of ****. I pulled up next to one at a light and me and my friend were both pointing and laughing at the homo driving it. He had his window down too and I said to him " oh I bet you feel cool driving that you ******* homo" and then the light turned green and the dude had this dumbfounded look on his face and I got on it a little as I passed him. I cant even believe this ****. I have hated these things since the first picture I saw of one.

You are right about how the magazines only pic the most fucked over pile to call vehichle of the year. I was just reading MT yesterday and the nissan xterra won the suv and honda accord won the car. whatever, they did a test on the Vette C6 Zo6, Viper and GT40 and the Vette came out on top. At least they made one good decision.

it seems like their favorite word is "handy"... a pocket knife is handy, a screwdriver is handy, hell even cell phones come handy these days but a truck is supposed to be a ******* tool!!! I know a lot of truck owners (here and other places) turn their truck into someting thats totally useless as a truck which is totally fine with me because they started off their lives as work vehicles... even the Silverado SS has tons of utility. I hate foriegn trucks but even the Titan has some neat little tricks that make it more useful to certain people. The toolbox in the side of the Titan's bed is "handy" because its ******* useful... especially if you tow often etc. you can keep tie downs and chains and all sorts of TOOLS in there... the "dent and corrosion resistant cargo area" of the Honda is useless as a truck... can a forklift back up to your "truck" and put a pallet of cinder blocks in the bed? not the damn Honda... I wouldnt expect it to make it out of the Lowes parking lot without blowing up the tranny or just ringing off axles and ****... then again the anemic V-6 doesnt make enough power to ever have to worry about breaking drivetrain parts. They say the power is "adequate" for what?? hauling a half dozen groceries and a car seat?? thats all the weight I would trust it with... I think my sister's '93 Cavalier with 220,000 miles on it could tow more... hell.. at least as much... Honda stepped on its dick by trying to run with the big dogs... C&D is making Honda feel better about getting screwed in the ***..... its not a truck... its a civic with an open trunk... end of story...

If it's not body on frame construction, it's not a truck.

I must admit I was stoked to hear that Honda was building a truck....until they actually built it. I figured it would be kinda "Toyota Tundra like" using an enlarged version of Honda's Pilot SUV front end and some form of tough V8 power and have all the quality and reliability Honda owners expect. I also expected to have a fully seperate bed, no offense Avalanche/Cadillac EXT owners, but I prefer an independent bed. And where did 4LO go? I tought that Honda/Acura would pour everything they put into their Pilots, Accords, TLs, TSXs and so on into this. I was wrong, it looks like spilled f**k. The one thing that pisses me off about it, is that Hondas (like Toyotas) last forever and a day, so we will be seeing this ugly s.o.b. for years to come. Had they met my expectations I would have at least looked at one. BTW: I have yet to see an american automobile go toe to toe with a Honda or Toyota and come out on top reliability wise. The foreign auto makers stand behind their vehicles better....even after the warranty is gone! (true story)

Make no mistake. I have been driving an HD for about 6 months (my 2nd Chevy truck)....I love it!

IDK about runing for ever HONDA TOYOTA thing, at least 5 people i go to church with has a toyota corola at least 2 has a new tranny and the other 3 had to have new gaskets everywhere in the engine 2 of the 3 has gone thru 7-9 starters and they all had like 110k miles, my uncle has a geo with 155k miles and he only had to replace a starter until now. My aztek had 120k miles and it ran strong no problems at all nothing we had a neighbor with a CRV replace his tranny at 132.654 miles.

About asking people what trucks will last longer i got a bunch of pieces of paper and said write what truck will last longer (total of 40 people) Dodge, ford, toyota, honda, nissan, chevy

chevy got- 6 votes
dodge got- 2 votes
ford got- 5 votes
toyota got- 10 votes
honda got- 9 votes
nissan got- 8 votes

Its sad but true we will see who tows a import truck with their load becuase their tranny blew out.

Honda built that POS wanna be for Yuppies to putz around in the city and pretend its a truck when its just a glorified grocery getter. Ive seen several in person and they are ugly as sin. Think about it this way how many do you think your gonna see on a job construction site doing its job?

BTW I think the Nissan is still dog ugly too but it is at least a good truck. This thing gets two thumbs down and two middle fingers up.

The only way the thing could have any redeeming value would be if it came in anything other than a crew cam 4x4. what a load of crap that is for such an underpowered, independent suspension, unibody vehicle. That's like a f-body off roading.

If they came in a 2wd reg cab, then they'd be a more viable vehicle. What they are right now is just retarded, i'd buy a colorado before those things.
