I have a 15mph speed limit if I go down a dirt road in my truck. I don't want rock chips on the rocker panels or wheel wells from the tires. I drive around them all the time and avoid gravel roads every chance I get. Also the holes and washboards on the roads loosen up a truck in a hurry. I don't want a rattle box so I keep vibrations to a minimum. I like these people who bomb gravel roads and hit big pot holes. Then in 10K miles they **** 'n' moan that their truck rattles and squeeks.

I never had a reason to go down a dirt road with my truck. I'm one of those crazy guys who tries to keep their truck spotless all the time so driving on a dirt road just doesn't appeal to me. I have no problem taking a beater off road though...

Ya those washboards **** me off! I usually won't go over 45mph down rock roads because my tires throw rocks pretty bad but shale roads are a different story.

My truck takes me wherever I need to go...no questions about it. Now I am going pretty slow on gravel roads but dirt roads I just go however fast I feel like 30-50mph depending on turns and what nots, but if its in bad condition im kinda just idling down the road. I am very **** about rock chips and what not, but its a truck, not a show winning corvette.
