I'm no expert, but I would build up from what you can do now. Do some sets every other night. The next night make sure you do some more and just keep building.

its easy... do pyramid sets.

do 10, then 8, then 6, then 4 etc etc etc....

do this once a day... it will hurt but if you want to improve, there's how...

Every break you take(smoke break, coffee, whatever) do a set of atleast 10. Do atleast 5 sets in a day. It'll help you improve a lot.

Yep -- the only hard part is fitting in push-ups between sips of beer.

You need to take breaks, if you're just starting out doing a bunch of pushups at one time is going to hurt you more than help. Start off at maybe 20 every 2 days for a week, then go up from there.

I'm guessing you're trying to bulk up? If so change your diet, it all revolves around what you eat.

It isnt hard, start of with 25 a day for a week, 30 the next, and so on. When I came into the navy, i could do about 45, within 3 weeks I was doing 90+ in 2 minutes. It is all mental.

Doing more push-ups is probably the easiest thing to improve on while most people think the opposite. Start doing sets all throughout the day. If you stick with it and go at it hard, you should be there in less than a month...
