Default Honest Fuel Mileage

I have been stationed overseas for about 8 years and I am finally coming back to the States. I would like to pick up a early 2000's 1500, 2WD, EC or CC, SB. I am wondering what you guys with the 4.8/5.3L's are getting for fuel mileage? Thanks!

My stock 5.3 2001 rcsb got 420 miles/24 gallons. I put this ls1 in it with heads and cam and it got 410/tank. Then I put the built trans and yank 3600 stall and I'm 380/tank. Not bad really, it just sucks having a $100 fill-up with 93 over $4/gal.

After my h/c/efan swap I started getting 19.5 on the highway with summer gas. After the stall it's around 13 in town, still 19 highway.
