I used to fly for a hobby, now get paid to do it. It's just not as much fun that way but it beats working for a living. I like hunting in the fall, and drinking whiskey. Racing a big old heavy truck is the latest.

 

Not me, but a lot of my friends have gotten into golf. My one buddy is 6'5" and needs special clubs. Working for Lexus, I find a full set of clubs in the trunk of about every other car that I work on

 

Golf is a fun and frustrating game. I don't play much anymore because I find every excuse not to go; too hot, too cold, raining, too many people, too expensive. Maybe one day I'll get back in to it.

I golf once a year maybe, some people take it WAY too seriously and that just kills the fun right off. Go out, smack the ball around, drink a bunch, do the tee trick on the cart's governor, that's how it should be done.

Yes golf is frustrating, I think that is somewhat why I like it so much. I want to improve on it. Playing sports through my high school days, I still have a competitive drive and golf satisfies it.

blackcash I know exactly what you mean, like the aforementioned competitiveness I have, I still know when some **** is just to taken to far. Those people take the fun right out of the game.

I have ridden quads and dirtbikes since I was 4 years old up until 3 years ago when I sold my raptor due to a new career and school. I did buy my 3 year old son a dirtbike for christmas, so I guess I still ride vicariously through him. Lol besides that, I've got the money pit sitting in my driveway

Hunting & fishing are sports, but u can eat as well from those hobbies. Beer drinkin just gets u fat. But that last one of Cody's, well, that's just plain old fun.

You can make money off a 2, maybe 3 of those at best. That last one tho, you're not makin money off any women. Quite the opposite.

1 of my older bros. told me this: All hobbies are expensive. At the time, I thought nah, that ain't true. But it is true. Cause whether it's cars, stamps, coins, scuba, guns, vacationing or whatever, sooner or later, you'll want the next or the best. And that doesn't come cheap.

I used to have WAAYY to many hobbies...and spent too much money..Now instead of a new truck with a forged FI setup I have a 01 with budget h/c ls1...I have learned how to NOT take things too far! which is alot better than owning a race truck/car when I am done modding..
I also am into Jiu Jitsu/Grappling and one day would like to teach...

My new hobby is potentially breeding English Staffordshire bull terriers..I am about to purchase a female (bitch..lol) for my male..
