We sell tracks I will ask the saleslman what he thinks. Sounds like the replacement lugs might be the way to go? What kind of tracks are they. I am sure shipping would be a few hundred but might be able to get you a killer deal on a new set. We sell camoplast and apparently they are the #1 name in tracks(that is what they tell me anyway).

You mean to tell me after all the **** I've given you, you'd still be willing to make a call to get me out of a bind.... I think I'm tearing up over here LOL I won't ever admit you can weld worth a **** or aren't the most hard headed SOB on earth, maybe even reckless.... But you must be a decent dude
But seriously, it's a 247B with the OEM rubber tracks im assuming... Get on it slappy!

Well I've at least got an idea of how to fix it... Good thing is, I know how I'm spending the rest of the money I make this yr
Spent lots of time on the phone with guys in the know. I'm a mechanic, and I work on Cat equipment, but I work on stationary gas engines, not this kinda stuff, this will be a first for me.
Apparently the drives are worn out and need to be rebuilt. This is why the drive lug problems started to begin with. Once they are rebuilt, then I am going to repair the broken lugs with those kits listed. Apparently when the drives wear, the lugs walk up the side of the drive sprocket and tip load the lugs, breaking them off... Also, the drives are supposed to be silent, these never have been and I had never known any better.
I'll be ordering parts before the end of the week... Nonnie, financial drive is right
one relief if, me, dad and my brother are splitting the cost and all pitching in and doing the work ourselves. Should cut cost some and make it bearable at least. We've all gotten our money's worth out of this thing LOL.

Good luck with the rebuild. Like anything that costs $50,000 when new it isn't usualy pennies to fix something that brakes. Those things are bad *** but like nonnie said renting can be your best friend with heavy equipment.
Let me know if you ever do need tracks. Like I said shipping is in the cost so it isn't a big deal. I order them the same if they come to me or go to you.

10-4, thanks for making the call for me
Main thing that sucks is its a privately owned little machine and it's not a company that's gonna be footing repair bill. It's my *** pocket LOL.
Oh well, maybe after doing this work to it he'll keep it a while longer and I can use it for some other stuff I want to do. That backhoe attachment would be nice to dig a small pond with
