They are rated for 30k.
I put min on in July of 08, put 24k on them the first year, same the second, and about 1/2 that this year and just now put new ones on the other day.

And i'm HARD on them. I'd launch wot several days a week. Just moved up from 275/45/20 to 295/45/20 and it just barely spins off the line now.
how much for a set? do they still even make them?

By lazy he's referring to you asking me what a set costs instead of just going to a site and looking up what a set costs. I posted the Size for MY tires 295/45/20. If you can't find 16's then they prob don't make 16's in that tire. I haven't seen any place with them in under a 17".

May be worth buying a set of stock 17" wheels if you want this kind of tire. They don't cost that much. Discount Tire Direct is where I got mine but for 17's you may have to go to prfrmcne plus tre dot com. (broken up since they are not a sponsored site). I haven't checked tire rack to see if they have 17"s

Just reporting back on my own question. I put on a set of 17" steelies wrapped in 275/60R17 Hankook Ventus ST tires in the fall. I have to say, I love these tires. In dry/wet conditions traction is no longer an issue. They even have done great in the snow! Atleast in combination with the G80 I had no problems accelerating from a stop in the snow. During "Snowpocalypse" I was able to get around to help out friends and family members. I even pulled a 4x4 Suburban out of the snow! The ride is a bit harsh for my wife's tastes, but it feels fine to me, and I love how much more planted my truck feels now .
