He said the CEO found it on his own. I didn't tell anyone at Geico that I had posted it.

No doubt. I am going to keep the site up for a few weeks, then offer the url at auction.

Maybe I will break even on the deal. Although, at $3.95, I am not out much.

Id just take the rest off and put a couple thick coats of bed liner on it,then spend the $$ on the burb

 

Part of the agreement - I will take the car to the repair shop of my preference, and they will pay that repair shop straight out. He said I can take to one shop to do both repairs, or I can take it to a body shop and an upholstery shop of my choosing.

I think they wanted to handle things that way to just double ensure I wasn't attempting to take advantage of anyone. I don't care, because I want the car repaired.

At most, I could probably get $2,000 in damages and then scrap the car for $550. I can sell the car repaired for $3000.

 

Get the check for the repairs. Then when they ask you to take down the site, tell them you will for a fee!!! Lol. F'k em!

 

I truly got the feeling that the new State Regional Manager is here to kick some butt. He is handling all the problems with the existing reps that won't do their jobs correctly.

I am going to give them a chance and stand back.

This is getting beyond frustrating.

 

I sold the Lincoln. Not sure how this will effect my settlement now, but at least I have some money back in my backup cash stash. Life has been hard on my stash with everything that has been going on.
