This is impressivly horrible. Event the easy welds are compleat trash.

Sorry to let you guys down.

Not trying to start back up the debate. But the welds everyone continues to rag on(the ones that a friend did, NOT ME). I think they were better then this work that was paid for. And the main reason they were so shotty was the horrible angle he was trying to weld at. I am not a master welder but I can weld pretty damn good. Especialy now.

Those gaps are just "flex" points, helps in the transfer of weight. Come on guys, it's not that bad.

Find me some spare change and I'll MacGyver that **** better.

UnHoly Crap Batman! Looking at those photos make me feel bad for the METAL, just all used and abused like that. Then to top it all off and make the truck that much heavier with all the tubing!

That's regular ERW tubing and is commonly used to build cage's. DOM cost just as much as Chromoly and is rarely ever used.

Besides his poor fit up and cold starts, it appears he has a regulator issue not allowing the shielding gas to flow properly. Sadly I was a victim of this on my first welder. He may also be useing a welder that is not up to the task. Like a 110 welder.

If he charged someone for that, He should be ashamed of himself. If he is a beginner, he should have stopped and asked for help. Surprisingly I have been finding welding supply stores are more then willing to help when you have issues like this. The reason being is that if your not successful in your attempts to learn then you won't continue to buy from them. If they help you find a bad regulator then your likely to come back and buy more supplies from them.
