Got a tune-extremely happy

My truck is stock except for the 40K transcool.....Drove over and picked Ben up and spent about 3 hrs on this tune.
This thing rocks! I was filled up with 87 octane, we changed it to 93 and couldnt do a lot of timing changes cause we were having some knock issues higher up, but damn! I cant wait to burn this tank and fill up with 93 so we can "fine-tune" this tune lol.
No longer does this dog shut off at 98. Shes shifting at 6300 rpm now....got 0 TQ management on Tow/haul and 50% left on regular mode cause afterall the tranny has 160K on it.....so many more things.....no egr or o2 sensors, he went ahead and turned my e-fans pins on so when I throw a set in there they will work automatically....
I wont go into detail all the other things we did but damn. All I can say is after I dropped him off I stopped down the road and roasted those 22's! That truck would never do that before, and its still got a LOT left to do with the timing.....its still almost stock.
Best thing I've ever done to the truck. Bar none.
BTW Ben, you were right about that u-joint.....at low speeds with the windows down I can hear it clicking under there lol. Havent heard that in about 2 years so I'll prolly pull both driveshafts and change the joints out soon.

yep.....I burned through my 87 octane today...filled up with 93. Ready to get Ben back in this thing to pull some timing...
Tonight on the way home my buddy and I got into it a few times....Hes got a '00 reg cab 2wd with aluminum 20's....we were pulling out of a residential street onto a major highway, I pulled out first and mashed it, by the time he mashed his I was about 6 car lengths ahead of him and kept that until he cut off and I kept going till prolly 115-120 mph.
He texted me "damn"! lol cause usually he can stay with me and pull me, him being 2wd reg cab and me being 4wd x-cab with 22's.....
Then we were on 105 and he was on my side about a half a car length behind me, and I punched it (from about 60) and didnt downshift! So he did downshift and pulled me till his rear bumper was about with my door......then of course he shut off and I walked him. But man he shouldnt have pulled me that bad, esp. with me shifting at 6300....either way I have some toying to do with the converter.....thing wants to stall up and bog rather than downshift and go.
Then, we turned off of 105 onto the feeder to get on 69 N to lumberton, (its a two lane 1 way feeder) this old *** beat up gangster car was in front of me in the left lane goin slow, I move to the right lane (not speeding) to pass, and my bud is behind him still, and all of a sudden this dude decides he dont want me to pass....and floors it. So then I have to floor it or slow down to get behind him and my buddy (and who wants to do that?)...so I mash it, walk him, pull in front of him about 2 car lengths and merge to get onto 69. By this time I'm about 6 car lengths ahead of him, and he swerves to the left lane after entering the on ramp and so does my buddy.....then I see him move over and let him pass, so then its bud in left lane and me in right doin about 70 side by side. He gets up REAL close right behind us riding the center of the lanes I guess thinking he'll squeeze between us LOL....So this whole time im on the phone with said friend, and he suggests we slow down, so we do....to about 45 lol. This guy is PISSED. So finally after about a mile the fun was gone so we both floored it and left him....he didnt try it again. Actually after a while we couldnt even tell which set of headlights his were, we were so far ahead....
We both have 6000K HID headlamps, and I have 6000K foglamps to match, and those things are ******* BRIGHT...and I think it intimidates a LOT of people when you are on their ***.....esp when there are two sets of them lol. So it tends to make people see red, but this guy was lookin for trouble seemed like.

Oh and Nick, as for the track, I'd be REAL surprised to even see a 15 sec pass with this heavy *** truck on current wheel setup, but stockers would be different. I cant wait till I get that LS1 done. shooting for low 11's!
