friend of mine went down at over 70mph with flip flops and shorts on, needless to say it wasn't pretty. i've been calling him terminator ankle ever since

haha, come to AZ or spend a week in Cali, u'll see it all. Anyone who doesnt atleast wear pants, closed shoes (preferably boots) and ATLEAST a t-shirt and helmet and gloves is a dumb *** IMO. My dad still doesnt wear his helmet despite their accident and I keep tellin him.. Atleast he puts a bandana on his head.. I guess somethins better than nothin :shrug2:

I don't believe in helmets, I wear one because it's the law but even then I just wear a little beanie. There are the pros and cons of helmets, and studies have shown no decrease (or increase) in states that have helmet laws.
I would say that in any case hitting anything at 60mph isn't good for the noggin but if you look you will find most head injuries on motorcycles come from hitting the ground or another object at low speed. A lot of people are hurt dropping their bikes at a light or in their driveway, and in those cases I believe a helmet will save you.

I always wear long pants, boots and gloves and I do agree only a fool would wear shorts and sandals.

just my opinion.

Guess Im a fool then I only wore sandals once, I wore shorts all the time, and I have the scar on my knee to prove it

Can do man, i ordered a new CCT and a Chain and Sprocket set for it today, should have all the pieces back from paint in a few days, have almost 100 miles on her.

don't worry cody you can ride her anytime you want
