My brother is picking up his 09 G8 GT tomorrow. We took it for quite a test drive and he fell in love. That 6l80 is so far ahead of our 4 speeds its pathetic. It is odd having it shift so much though. My truck feels like it will kill it up to about 80, but then the g8 will keep on pulling. I think I will have him in the 1/4 though. He is thinking it needs a tvs or some sort of turbo system because he can't stand having my 6000lb truck being faster. That APS twin turbo system looks like it makes sick power and spools quickly. Or the tvs...

I think he got an ok deal. He got it with the premium and sport package for $30,700. What made him pull the trigger was they doubled his gm bucks to 3,000. So the purchased price was 27,700 all for 0% for 72 months.

I look forward to some some good ole brotherly competition on the drag strip. We both admit that this sibling rivalry is not going to be nice to our wallets
