He has the long block in the truck.

 

I have been getting a few things acomplished, like Dave said got the longblock in, hot pipes and turbo on, wiring is started( long way to go) line lock is on. Mark (turbogibbs) came down this morning and we put the new Eaton posi and yukon axles in ( they are supposed to be 30% stronger than stock).
C notched the frame, next I'm going to do the trans cross member for the 80e. But I'm going to figure a way to raise it because it's the one that drops about an inch lower than the frame rails...can't stand that!
Also got my new radiator today, it is thicker and narrower to allow room to run the intercooler pipes and will mount it a little more forward than stock to allow more clearance of my hot pipes. I will be doing away with the Y on the heater hose and also the tank that it runs to. I'll try and remember to get a pic or two tomorrow.

 

well it sounds like your moving right along cant wait to see it all wraped up and bombing down the track

 

Curt...you need to teach me how to make a badass build and I need to show you how to take a damn picture every 3 seconds during your build and posting them up!!

Curt, apparently I missed thread bout what happened to your other truck. This 1 is comin along nicely.

 

WOW super nice truck i love how those wheels look on white trucks great job keep it up.

 

He broke a coolant line (I think it was ) at about the 880 mark at the track and when his rear tires rolled over it he lost traction and ended up in the wall and totaled the truck.
You can see it in a few of his pictures in this thread, it's the big black pile of rubble!
