Default Finally bought myself a Silverado

Ive been shopping for awhile between Colorados, S10s and Silverados.....and motorcycles. I found one with pretty high miles for really cheap, and after having 3 different vehicles sold out from under me before I could get there, I was ready to finish shopping.

2001 4.8/4L60 Extended cab.

The exterior has a solid 11 years worth of scratches/ding and what not. Some fool also resprayed the front fenders and hood with a color that doesnt match. All that can be fixed, but for only spending a couple G's on the purchase of the truck, Im happy. The interior is really clean and quiet. The motor is also very soild and quiet, x2 for the trans.

The Gas Gauge works!!!!

Ive got quite a shopping list prepared already, especially after years of being on this forum and owning and S10, never buying Silverado parts.

First round of money from my wallet will be:
Full Center Console
Escalade Cluster
Aeroforce Gauge and pod
03 Bezel for my double din
driving lights for lower valence
HIDS for headlights and driving lights
debadge/demold
35%/5% tint
heavy heavy polish wax/clay bar etc.
40K Trans Cooler
Big Magnaflow and Diesel 4" over the axle/tail pipe

Then its on to the good stuff:
GMC NNBS 20s
2/4 drop or 3/4
HD Hood and Grille
4L80 Swap
Tune

etc. etc.

Along with the 4L80 as being the first performance mod, If I stick with the 4.8, Ill run with a front mount 70/76mm.

But I really like the idea of just getting a 6.0/4L80 pullout and go with and the boltons from there.

Nice score... bet you saved a few bucks from that paint. It'll be nice to start with a clean slate.
