Default F-body and Truck converters

Hey guys is there a difference in the LS1 and truck converters?

My buddy got a 98 Fbody LS1/A4 and the trans is fried.... no point in reusing the old converter.. so im just wondering what would be good on a stock car maybe a Lil Nitrous down the road..

i was thinking a 2400 since its a DD and such..

Thanks guys!!!
