I didnt like the way you handled things with some of the people involved, Im sure you didnt like some of the things I had to say via PM, but I have alot of respect for you being able to admit when you went overboard. There arent many people in the world much less ones in power who can admit when they screwed up. It is very easy to let your emotions get the best of you, as has happened with me many times on here, even well before your time on this site, maybe thats why Im not a mod by now I think the new rules, and better udnerstanding of the contest will go a long ways to making it a very good contest. When did the TOTY thing start? I didnt even know we had it. Im guessing the calendar deal will have the TOTY as the cover truck then the TOTM as the different months?

 

I figured you were a mod; you've got over 14,000 posts! I think they should at least give ya a shirt.

 

Well, actually, and this is mostly on me, the TOTY contest in December hasn't come to fruition yet. The first 4 months we had it back in 06 we decided to forego it for obvious reasons, lol.

Last year, I flat dropped the ball. Time constraits with work and other little stuff in life, I didn't get it done. We've added another staff member to the TOTM roster, so now with three of us, we shouldn't have any excuses for not making things happen on time.

And as for your PM's, I told you then....... I have no problem with people questioning me and my decisions/actions. It keeps me honest. Just don't always expect a reply, lol.

To all those included in the March TOTM, I apologize for not being online during that time to ensure the poll ran smoothly. It was a PIA to even find time and access to internet to get it up since I was in the middle of re-locating my household and family.

I'm confident those of us who have a hand in TOTM are more than capable of promoting and running the following months with great success as we have inthe past months. Feel free to PM me with suggestions, questions, and/or concerns or post up publicly as I do care what the members think.
