I hope you bought some regular disposable CR123s then because if you bought those rechargeable ones and that charger you're going to have to charge them for 6-8 hours first. I think that flashlight can use a single 18650 battery which is what I'm using in my PD31.
And I'd also recommend one of these for your new TK15. It gets rid of the large hex shaped back spacer and replaces it with a smooth ring which makes it sleeker looking.

Yeah, energizer lithium CR123A's. I don't care about the ring thing, its just a work flashlight.
What's better, the 123s or the 18650? Haven't been able to find any good posts on it.

In terms of lumens and flood, yes a noticeable amount. But most larger flashlights are going to have more throw because they can have a deeper reflector. I'd say my PD31 is just about perfect for size vs brightness. Ill be picking up a TK41 in a few days which is about the same size as a 2D Maglite but will put out 800 lumens with a very long throw. It will basically be a handheld spotlight.
