no, you had it nailed. It will scan the bar code on a product, tell you it's price and the best pricing locally. It uses the vid cam to scan and gps/google. It's only one of thousands of apps. I'm trying to find a drag racing ap for it....

I'm at my desk at the moment but I've posted from it a bit. My big fat fingers like the desktop/laptop better but to be totally honest the built in on screen keypad is really intuitive, the QWRTY even better.

 

having fat fingers is the only thing i hate bout having my BB!!

QWRTY .... the DROID has a full keyboard as well as on-screen.

my neighbor got the droid, showed my the barcode app, pretty slick ****! seems like a pretty decent phone altogether. didn't really get to play with it at all but i am impressed. will be sticking with my blackberry for now though. is the droid verizon only?
