It scans all the bars in the area you are in and tells you which ones have drink specials going on and if there are any hot chicks there.

no, you had it nailed. It will scan the bar code on a product, tell you it's price and the best pricing locally. It uses the vid cam to scan and gps/google. It's only one of thousands of apps. I'm trying to find a drag racing ap for it....

my neighbor got the droid, showed my the barcode app, pretty slick ****! seems like a pretty decent phone altogether. didn't really get to play with it at all but i am impressed. will be sticking with my blackberry for now though. is the droid verizon only?
