Don't Give Up On Following You Dream Job!
This time my resume made it to the right hands, and there wasn't a blind eye.
Upon receiving an invitation, today, I did something brave. I took an idea that I have been working on for the better part of a year, and presented it to a General Manager at a predominate luxury line dealership. I felt like I was living in the shoes of Melanie Griffith in "Working Girl". I mentioned that I had to break a couple of the rules to get to where I wanted to be.
I don't want to jinx myself, but I felt really good about this opportunity. And honestly, how many people do we know that can create a position for themselves, and have a corporation embrace your idea. I could be my own learning curve.. interesting.
I was told that I would hear word by Tues/Wed of next week, and then the next step which I have no idea is. Once my idea becomes reality, I will be more than happy to share. But for right now, this is all I can tell.
Thanks to having great family, friends, high school buds, performance junkies like the brothers I have made on PT.Net, and softball team mates to keeping my idea wheel-a-turnin'!!
Ps... and thanks to my husband Eric Bridges to getting me started over 6 years ago. I love you.

Well since this is just us PT'ers on the board, I've decided to create a position for Cadillac which is a Concierge/Delivery Specialist. This person would be the go-to for the clientele if the sales person or service writer wasn't available for questions about their ride.
There's more, but I believe this is enough for now.
