Feel like going back to stock?

I was just talking to another member last night about this, how sometimes I wish I had left it all alone

Driving my truck to work and back in stop and go traffic sucks. Actually, driving it with less than 50% throttle sucks lol...Maybe I am just a little bummed lately, nothing to do with the truck and don't get me wrong, I love the truck, she is warm and comfortable and handles great. It's just putting along at low speed is really not what she's good at. If I had another car for a DD it'd be a whole different game. I was just wondering how many of you think of returning to a more stockish setup? Things I have floating around in my brain are to go back to a 6lb pulley and get rid of the meth, add the MAF back and drive the snot out of it? I'd keep the nitrous for that little 75 punch now and then

Really, I am pissed i can't run it and risk blowing it up right now. Like i said, anything over 50% throttle is a "hang on!" experience.

 

so your scared you may blow it up or your mad you dont get worry about it anymore?

 

I think the same thing sometimes. But I just get in it and mash the pedal a few times and it reminds me why I did it.

 

just buy you a ******* to dd ,and on the weekends when you jump in the truck....well...you know. I have that setup,98 kia sephia, hot rod its not, but you get the little car additude when your in it. its zippy in stop and go traffic.

 

buy a cheap POS for a dd and keep modding the truck

 

yeah I have just so I can drive the truck and what not. This tranny downtime is bustin my *****....
