Cool pics Bill!! Nothin like whatchin a sprinter take a corner at 100mph. That class takes some big huevos. There was a 12 year old kid (Trey Robb look him up) that was running in the class of sprints you posted there that was running with the local big dogs and he won a few races against them. Now that hes older hes touring across the country makin big races. I havent seen dwarf cars run since I was little kid. Modifieds are one class up on the car I run. Those motors get in excess of $18k+. The sprint cars motors cost more that your truck was new plus with all the parts you got on it. So goin out and whatchin that want you to spend alittle money and get on a dirt track?

Haha, yeah they are tiny and have little Honda engines butdamn if they dont scoot. In the final race there were a boatload of wrecks, some spetacular.
Those 410 sprint cars haul ***!! I mean they fly around that track at unbelievable speed and stay put (most of the time). My bro (the guy in my glasses) used to race dirt track and is thinking about getting back into it. He did mention the 410 engines were close to 40K? I took that one pic of the engine hoping you could explain whats in it?

thats a hilborn style mechanical fuel injection. looks to be made by shaver westmar, which is out of Oklahoma..thats magneto distributor, they have no batteries or starters, thats why they are push started, they are direct drive. Ive never been around sprint cars much, only when they would come to a race once or twice a year. the rod outside the headers connected to that arm does the steering. 40k is good for a local team, once you get in the world of outlaw series ive been told of motors in the 50-60 range..its still hard to believe 25k in a motor let alone 40k
