4bt and 6bt motors are stupid expensive, but great motors, I worked on the 6bta and qsb while in the navy.

I was actually going to swap a 6bt in my 2 door tahoe, got as far as getting new injectors and then sold the truck. Lost one, still have 5 just in case I decide to try it on a rcsb.

 

that's the cool part! it's like parking a goldwing next to a custom chopper. sure one is more comfortable, but the other just demands attention. bare necessities and looks cool as ****! alot of those clunker looking things have a top of the line frame/driveline under them.

 

Theres a guy on the Z71 forum with a 4bt in a Z71 tahoe.. pretty cool!

super jealous, my father (in the business) had me a box van 4bt and bus 6bt but they were sold while I was on deployment when times got tough. After that, it sat and I decided to just sell it. I miss it, but I enjoy my open clean garage, and my wife enjoys here 5th year anniversary ring upgrade

 

now sure how you make one of these legal, but incredibly bad a$$

 

There is no inspections or emmisions for vehicles over xx years old. Most states are 20 and 25 years some may be differen.t

 

This one is pretty bad *** too.

 

Even more entertaining would be watching it try to stop.
